Practice Opening Hours

The practice premises are open from 8.30am to 6.00pm Monday-Friday.

(Closed for lunch between 12 noon and 1.00pm.)

Access via telephone is available every day from 8.30am to 6.00pm. (This remains open through the lunch period.)

Extended Hours

The practice offers extended opening hours on stipulated Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Out-of-Hours Services

On weekdays between the hours of 6.00pm and 8.00am Monday to Friday and throughout weekends and bank holidays, services are commissioned by Rochdale PCT.

Patients who require medical treatment have a choice:

• If you have an emergency and wish to see a doctor please ring BARDOC on 0161 762 4242.
  
  
• If you require health information or advice you may phone NHS Direct, a 24-hour nurse-led advice line, on 0845 4647.

A recorded telephone message also provides this information when the surgery is closed.

ACCESS FOR THE DISABLED

This is available at the main entrance, but should there be any issues regarding any visit to the surgery, the practice manager will be happy to advise.

Wellfield Surgery follows the formal NHS procedure when dealing with complaints.

A copy of our complaints procedure is available from our secretaries.

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION - PUBLICATION SCHEME

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges the practice to produce a Publication Scheme. A Publication Scheme is a guide to the 'classes' of information the practice intends to routinely make available.
