A Thank you.
Q "More telephone staff"
A We have employed another one and a half receptionists in the last 12 months.

Q Carry on the good work.
A Thank you.
Q If there is a children's play area - soft flooring please - and a play leader to give parents and children play training, maybe Sure Start could supply?
A We may look at the play area in the new surgery. Unfortunately it would not be practical to provide a play leader.
Q I have 3 children and a play area would be great to take their mind off seeing a doctor.
A We may look at the play area in the new surgery.
Q Shorter waiting time to see a nurse i.e blood tests.
A The majority of nurse appointments are routine and not urgent appointments. Patients are usually seen within 7 - 14 days.
Q No children or prams in surgery as they disturb people.
A This suggestion is not possible as our service is offered to all.
Q The online prescription order form lists Dr Travis as Dr Trays, this was confusing the first time I used it.
A Thank you, this has been rectified.
Q Other than a children's play area a brew machine would be nice.
A We may look into this in the new surgery.
Q Ban all the time wasters from clinic and let the people who need it get it!!!
A All patients perceive their appointments as necessary.
Q I always arrive early; however I find I always have to wait between 20-60 minutes after my appointment time before I am seen.
A If you are unhappy with your waiting time, please address your concerns to the GP concerned or Senior Receptionist.
Q Make appointments for people that are working, cannot always get time off during the day.
A We offer Saturday morning clinics one per month and late night surgeries Monday and Wednesday twice per month for patients who work.
Q A little drinks machine for patients while they wait would be a good idea.
A We may look at this in the new surgery.
Q If the 'check in' machine could be moved a little bit away from the reception desk, it would prevent the queue of patients waiting at reception from blocking the doorway.
A A good point. Thank you.
Q It is a good doctors surgery, looking forward to the new one which is being built
A Thank you.
Q Very happy with all the doctors at the surgery :).
A Thank you.
Q I feel there should be appointments for more than one week in advance.
have a Saturday morning surgery or late night surgery once a week.
A We have extended hours surgeries, one Saturday per month and alternate Mondays and Wednesday evenings. We have found that where appointments are routinely made for more than one week, we have a high non-attendance rate.
Q Close your books to new patients.
A The surgery has no control over this. We are contracted to have an open list.
